Social/Community Responsibilities

Jan has donated a lot of his time to several “community” associations:

Nursery School

When his children were attending the local DUNVEGAN Nursery school, he was a member of the executive committee which had the responsibility to manage the school, its staff and pupils. The last two years he fulfilled the function of Vice Chairman.

Boy Scout Group

Jan was a member of the parents committee of the FIRST EDENVALE SCOUT GROUP for 10 years. The last 6 years he was the Chairman.

Boy Scout Local Association

Jan represented the “First Edenvale Group” and chaired this committee for 3 years.

Edenvale chamber of Business and Industries

Jan was elected onto the Executive committee and then after 3 years he was the Vice President for a 2 year cycle before being the President for the following 2 years.

Jan was acknowledged for his efforts by awarding him “Honorary Life Membership”.
